Meet the Instructors

Colleen Thompson, owner/instructor

When she's not at the barn, Colleen is most likely to be found trying to keep up with her husband, Nate, and their 4 boys.  They love serving together in worship ministey at church and in the community.  Colleen grew up loving horses and volunteering at a variety of farms  in Butler County, OH.  She's done colt starting, restarting thorourghbreds off the track, refreshers for rusty horses, worked in a boarding facility, and has logged over 1,000 miles of trail.  Instructing since 2016, she has enjoyed seeing the kids grow in strength and courage as they take on the equine sport.   "I just want to be the person I needed when I was a teenager.  Life is challenging, but it's better together...and with horses."

Sydnee Webb, instructor

Sydnee is a recent graduate of Butler Tech's Veterinary Science program with an emphasis on large animals.  She has 5 years of riding experience and progressed quickly.  Syd has become a jack-of-all-trades in the arena.  She is proficient in western and english riding, as well as jumping.  Syd loves sharing her passion and knowledge of horses with the next generation of budding equestrians.

Camdynn Lang, instructor

Cam started as a student at White Horse in 2017.  Seeing her passion and knowledge for equine art grow she choose to attend Diamond Oak's Equine Science program and graduated in 2023.  Her favorite discipline will always be contesting, but while attending Diamond Oaks she discovered a passion for jumping.

Isabel Tilton, instructor

Miss Izzy, as we like to call her, has over a decade of horse experience.  She is a graduate of Butler Tech's Equine Science program and owns a rocky mountain horse, Trooper.  Izzy specializes in working with youth with anxiety and depression.  She has a nack for pulling kids out of their shells and helping them reach their full potential both in and out of the arena.  Though not an active instructor for the 2024 season, she's still a part of the team and fills in every chance she can.
